We successfully completed the Erasmus+ youth exchange entitled AwesoME (dis)Abilities, which took place from 12. Avgust 2023 to 20. Avgust 2023 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Erasmus+ youth exchange, "ACTIVE YOUTH"

From 28.3. - 4.4. 2022, we hosted an international Erasmus+ youth exchange at Hostel Idrija, which was attended by young people from Slovenia, Serbia, Spain, Poland, Portugal and Hungary. The Youth Exchange is the second part of the project's activities, where we addressed the topics of active European citizenship, youth participation, democracy in our countries and opportunities for young people in the European Union.

Erasmus+ mobility of youth workers "Active youth"

From 10 October 2021 to 16 October 2021, we hosted the mobility of youth workers in Ljubljana as part of the Erasmus + program entitled "Active youth" - Active youth of the European Union. The main objectives of the project are to promote the participation of young people in democratic life in Europe and the labor market, to promote active European citizenship, intercultural dialogue and social inclusion.

From 27 September to 3 October 2021, we hosted the mobility of youth workers in Maribor as part of the Erasmus + program entitled "Say NO to discrimination". Participating youth workers and volunteers came from Slovenia, Italy, Poland, Greece and North Macedonia

Erasmus+ youth exchange, »Hands up for tolerance«

In September we hosted an international youth exchange, which was attended by young people from Slovenia, Serbia, Italy, Cyprus and Germany. The main topics of the youth exchange were intolerance and discrimination in our environment, good practices of working with young people in the field of human rights and the inclusion of young people in civil society.

I am grateful for you helping me in the past years. With financial help, you supported me in situations when I needed it the most, when, despite my student work, I needed time to dedicate learning (the reason why I came to Slovenia). You subsidized my language courses for learning Slovene, which helped me adapt to the new environment. I am very grateful for your support.

Thank you for the opportunity you gave me to learn a foreign language — Spanish — that I could not afford on my own. This helped me to take courage for the Erasmus exchange in Spain, where I have been since September. Great experience!

I am very grateful for Erasmus+ project »Hands up for tolerance«. I have learnt a lot from from everybody here. I will always remember beautiful Slovenia and people i met here. Every activity was mindblowing. Intercultural nights were amazing! Now I have many new friends from different countries and crazy memories!
